The Intel core 2 extreme processors are multi core processor that deliver high performance, fast and reliable computing. These processors are exceptionally great for 3D gamers and its supports heavy multimedia applications. It has support for both 32-bit application and 64-bit applications. There are six different models (desktop) available as of now in the markets and the models are described below with their specification.
The Intel core 2 extreme QX6850 is built on 65nm silicon technology that has four cores with a clock speed of 3.00GHz and Front Side Bus (FSB) of 1333MHz. It has 8MB of L2 cache memory.
